We are really excited to announce the release of React Native House Rental App by our author Victor Olowe. This is a well structured, fully customizable and responsive iOS and Android house rental app theme that is built using React Native and NativeBase.
This starter kit is built using Create React Native App, allowing you to work with all of the components and APIs that are available in Expo.
Technologies Used
The React Native House Rental App is built using the core components of React Native and NativeBase. Along with these two, this starter kit works on the following latest technologies.
React Navigation
This package lets us define the app’s navigation structure. React Navigation comes with navigators that render common configurable elements such as headers and tab bars.
React Native Grid View
This is an open source package that is used to define the app’s grid layout. React Native Grid View makes it easy to build a flexible grid view that is based on React Native’s ListView component.
Expo
Expo is an open source toolchain that is built around React Native and helps you build iOS and Android projects using JavaScript and React. With Expo, you don’t need to install XCode or Android Studio while building your app. You can even test your app on an iOS device or simulatior without a paid Apple Developer account.
ESLint
ESLint is an open source, pluggable, and configurable linter tool that is used to identify and report patterns in JavaScript. This allows us to maintain the quality of our code with ease.
Prettier
Prettier is used to get beautiful code formatting in our app.
Jest
We have used Jest to write the tests for the app.
